Graduation Class of 2012

Thomas and I graduated together this past Saturday. It was a really surreal feeling. As I was walking up to get my half diploma I was overcome with emotion because we had put so much faith, time, energy and money into our degree's. I saw Asher and all our family in the stands and I was almost in tears. I did finish my classes in December but walking across the stage for some weird reason just made me feel awesome. I'm so grateful for everyone who came and supported us.  I'm glad we choose to do the whole ceremony thing. Thomas wants to become an author but in the mean while we are still brainstorming to see what he wants to do, so we can get in the position to where he can take care of our needs enough to start writing. Asher and I are still enjoying our job and we are excited for the summer.

So.....

So I got a job. It's at a Preschool called All About kids here in Logan. Asher and I have really liked it so far and look forward to our days there.

So Thomas and I are going to be doing the big real life fishing pond again at Baby Animal Days in Logan. The last attempt was kind of a traumatic downer, so I'm pretty scared out of my pants. Thomas however found a great sponsor and so we don't have to worry about losing almost everything. I'm pretty excited to see if we can have some success this time around.

So I totally cried like a baby with this weeks episode of the Biggest Loser. Haha I've never watched the show before and never got why people might cry. I totally understand now, you can totally get sucked into shows like that. I also watched the Bachelor for the first time and was pretty disappointing. Need I say more...

So Asher is getting really big. We haven't mastered the art of potty-training yet and I wish I would have before we started the new job but well get there. My mom bought a huge box of pull-ups. Asher is so sweet, kind and so aware of others feelings. He has so much energy. I love being able to communicate with him though words. His favorite things to do are read books and play with blocks. His guilty pleasure is drinking chocolate milk. He begs for it daily. That boy has a mind of his own for sure. If he has it set in there, he will find a way in or out of the situation. haha it kind of reminds me of his dad.

Our Kind of March

We have been out and about these beautiful March Days! It's so nice to be able to spend large majority's of our days outside. We drove up to second dam last Saturday. Then went fishing in the river behind our apartment a couple times. Then yesterday Asher and I took a stroller ride all the way up to first dam, played at the park and then took another stroller ride later. Haha, my legs hurt today but it was amazing weather and an amazing day!

I read his post and watched this video at Life as a Leach and really loved the message. I might have shed some tears, it just touched my heart. My niece is strengthened and grows through the same challenges as the sweet little girl of the women who writes this blog. I really love Piper Jane and miss her with all my heart. My sister-in-law also writes a lot about it on her blog to. Their stories inspire me and I seriously consider them as super women.
