Tell me how you couldn't love this boy to death. I just love those days that you forget about everything that is going on in your world and you take a step back and realize how blessed you are. I'm not sure what I did to get this cute boy but I'm super happy he is mine forever. I usually go do my own thing when Thomas puts Asher to bed but tonight I sat there and watched Thomas read to Asher as he fell asleep. I just about died because i was overwhelmed with happiness. I think it's impossible to describe the way Thomas makes me feel. I really like this song because this is how Thomas is to me EVERYDAY!

Thoughts on a Tuesday

Family
-We are getting healthy and fit while doing the P90X workout/eating. We have done it for a whole week and two days, and are already feeling a good difference. Eating healthy and exercising everyday is hard work.
- We found a mobile home park in Layton, UT that we would like to move to. We are anticipating moving this lovely place (lol) in May.

Thomas
-Was called to be the second councler in the elders quorum presidency.
-Has done a few little more updating to our house (finally put up the last two cabints in the landray room, finished tileing the entry way, and put 4 cute little can lights in out dark family room.
-He is taking 13 credits of really hard English major classes  

Asher
-Turned 18 months and just loves nursey. In fact a couple weeks before he was old enough we were walking though the hall and he threw a huge temper tantrum when I said he would be able to go into the nusery room.
- We rearranged and moved our bedrooms in our house, and he is know in the big back room. He loves the space with his toys and watching Disney movies.
- Asher has loved learning to communicate and has many words in his vocabulary. Although some are more strong then others. His strongest is mommy! Other strong one's include dad, grandpa, bath, kiss, juice, all done, more, dog, and toes. He really likes making animal noises and monkey's oohhaa is if favorite.
- His dad has read over 10 chapter books with Asher and just finished Indian in the Cupboard. I wonder what will b next.
- He sleeps like an angel 12-13 hours every night and a 2-3 hour nap during the day.
- His favorite foods include eggs, strawberries, yogurt and any kind of cracker/bread. He can fully feed himself with a baby spoon or fork and just loves the independence. I love cleaning up the messes (lol)
- He is just the cutest little thing you ever did see. He is very aware of others and constently amazes me. 

Melinda
- I make my way though the day taking care of my sweet family and inching my way though classes.
- I will be participating in a Valentine Boutique on Feb. 8th with two other friends and I'm really excited. I know i said i would never do this again during the semester but it was super cheap and my sweet girlfriends are in on the run with me. I will be featuring my lamps.

Merry Christmas

Christmas is such a special time of year! I love celebrating the birth of our Savior. I was so full on new emotions this year as trying to really feel the spirit of Christmas. It's hard to describe in words the powerful feeling I felt this year but it was amazing. I'm so grateful for Christmas and the wonderful things that come with celebrating it. 

Thomas, Asher and I went and cut down a tree from Strawberry Canyon up in Idaho by Preston. Together we climbed up the mountain and dragged it back down to our truck. Asher loved every second of the adventure and the tree was incredibly beautiful!

Then i fully enjoyed getting our Christmas box out and decorating our tree and home. I lighted and decorated our whole tree all by myself. I strung 1400 lights and Asher helped my put on the ornaments.

This is a baby sling, our really good friends have a business called baby wearing and gave me this sling. I love it because it's really easy to use. I delivered our neighbor gifts while carrying Asher at the same time, it was awesome 

Thomas a I went to Wal-mart a couple days after Christmas and I found this adorable candle warmer. It's super cute and I got it for $7.00!! That's a super awesome DEAL! 

My parents came and visited Christmas Eve. We loved having them and Asher loved his presents. We also went to eat Chinese at our favorite Chinese restaurant in Logan called Wok On Wheels. 

We spend Christmas at Thomas family's house and i forgot to take pictures but it was really fun. I got a shirt, a really cute decorating thingy and  EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED SANTA FOR!!!! VIVA LA JUICY COUTURE. Thomas totally surprised me and I was really really happy!! Thomas got some awesome stuff to and Asher loved his toys.

Amy Butler Messenger Bag

So during the Logan gift show i gave out my number to a few people who liked my things a lot. I had a lady call me and order a laptop bag with John Deere fabric. It was really fun but frustrating to make this bag. Frustrating becasue it was the first time i have made it and fun becasue i really enjoy sewing new things. So this is the finished product and the lady ended up loving the bag.
